In an effort to conserve water it is now against Texas state law for a sprinkler system to spray water across a sidewalk. This has to be the biggest waste of water, not to mention your money, I see on a daily basis. The sprinkler heads spray across the sidewalk and all that water (your money) just runs off the curb, down the street and into the sewer system.
